4 Years have passed since the multiplatinum Slipknot's last record 'Vol.3 The Subliminal Verses'(2004),4 years full of others activities such as side projects of Corey and James (Stonesour) and Joey's( Murderdolls)the 9 masked metalheads from Iowa are surely back.
This week was released the brand new 4th studio album named 'All Hope Is Gone' showing the new sound of the band,more mature more melodic vocals from Corey but still aggressive as their
past efforts. : 'All Hope Is Gone' has elements of all Slipknot's back catalogue, furious riffs and blast beats in songs such as ' All Hope Is Gone',or 'This Cold Black' reminding us their brutal side but also their melodic times such as 'Snuff'and their hit single 'Psychosocial'.Therefore their new album will definitely please their 'maggots'but also attract new listeners.
